Answer:

In India, the public works department was established during the tenure of  Option B: Lord Dalhousie.

Explanation:

Called the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), it was first established in 1854. Engineers were contracted to form a corps of professional who would carry out complex projects that were needed to make improvements in infrastructure in Indian towns and cities, for example. The CPWD undertakes the construction of non-residential buildings for the central government for example and provides consulting services for the private sector and other intergovernmental projects.  Some of the first projects adopted by the agency involved irrigation as this was important to the general populace and would increase food security.

In a laboratory, smokers are asked to "drive" using a computerized driving simulator equipped with a stick shift and a gas pedal
ladessa [460]
In research studies, when you execute scientific experiments, you always have the independent and dependent variables. Dependent variables are the parameters you want to measure or investigate. Independent variable, on the other hand, are parameters or events that you control or set. In this case, the dependent variable is the amount of collisions made by the two groups.

Why were newspapers careful not to offend royal officials
cluponka [151]
Newspapers were careful not to offend royal officials because these officials wielded a lot of power. These were officials who were either royal themselves or worked closely/directly with members of the royal family. They then had a lot of power and influence and could greatly affect the business of the newspapers. For example, a nasty article about a royal official could lead to the shutting down of the newspaper or its printing press. They could arbitrarily wield their power, money, and influence to knock down those who disgrace or humiliate them. This is especially true if any of the newspapers print any false or inaccurate materials.
