EXPLANATION: When Augustas Caesar took over the leadership of the Roman Empire, it was a very tumultuous time. Still he was able to successfully ensure stability throughout the empire. He changed few aspects of the military and introduced new provinces to ensure administrative efficiency. These provinces were further classified into provinces ruled by Senate and provinces ruled by Emperors. He reduced the number of military but increased the pay which boosted their morale.
