The Tokugawa shogunate was the third and last shogunate to hold power throughout Japan. During the period of the shogunatos, existed a species of military dictatorship submitted specifically to the emperor of Japan. The shogun, who became the general commander of the armed forces of Japan, had the military and political power of the country; while the emperor was assigned spiritual and religious power, as a link between people and gods, and nominal power in the Imperial Court of Kyoto. Therefore we can say that the success was due to the strong central government that this emperor exercised on all areas of society.

noname [10]

Answer:

1. Slavery

2. Republicans

3. Democrats

Explanation:

Slavery is the main reason the states fought and was a prevalent issue in the states for a long time mainly starting at the 3/5ths compromise. The two parties of Republican and Democrat were origianlly created as a single party, lead by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, but were split into the Whig Party and The Democrats after a political division inside the party about the election of 1824. In the mid-nineteenth century the Democrats were split on the issue of slavery and eventually the Democrats in the north (+ the Whig Party and some other politicians) joined together to make a new Republican party that was against slavery (leaving the southern Democrats as pro-slavery).

Bernardo Vicente de Gálvez y Madrid, 1st Viscount of Galveston, 1st Count of Gálvez, (23 July 1746 in Macharaviaya, Málaga, Spain – 30 November 1786) was a Spanish military leader and colonial administrator who served as colonial governor of Spanish Louisiana and Cuba, and later as Viceroy of New Spain.

Gálvez aided the American Thirteen Colonies in their quest for independence and led Spanish forces against Britain in the Revolutionary War, defeating the British at the Siege of Pensacola (1781) and conquering West Florida.
