damaskus [11]

Answer:

Co-enzymes

Explanation:

B-vitamins are necessary for effective functioning of body cells. What they do literally is conversion of  food substances into energy. They also form new blood cells and other body tissues. now, in the process of promoting energy metabolism, B-vitamins such as B1, B2, B6(water-soluble vitamins)  primarily acts as Co-enzymes.

This is because they enhance enzymatic actions. As small molecules, they cannot catalyze a reaction by themselves but with the assistance of an enzyme they can do so.  They therefore act as organic non-protein molecules and binds with protein molecules in order to form active proteins.
