Answer:

Photosynthesis is a complex process associated with the production of food in the form of sugar.

The process begins with the conversion of the sunlight energy to chemical energy through light-dependent reaction which helps the release of the NADPH and ATP. The light-dependent reaction takes place in the thylakoid membrane of the chloroplast.

The intermediate produced is utilized in the light-independent reaction also known as the Calvin cycle which forms the glucose molecule. The glucose molecule is transported to the plant where it undergoes respiration and produces energy.

Light energy is absorbed by chlorophyll, a green substance found in chloroplasts in some plant cells and algae. Absorbed light energy is used to convert carbon dioxide (from the air) and water (from the soil) into a sugar called glucose. Oxygen is released as a by-product. - BBC

Control of (blank) synthesis is the key to controlling the chemical pathway of the cell.
strojnjashka [21]
Controlling the synthesis of proteins is the key to controlling the chemical pathways in the cell.
This is because proteins have key roles in many chemical reactions in the cell.
The most important proteins for the chemical reactions in the cell are enzymes.
Enzymes catalyze many chemical reactions, therefore, the control of the enzyme synthesis is a direct way of controlling other chemical reactions in the cell.
