How is constitutional democracy used today?
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

The Constitution established a Federal democratic republic. It is the system of the Federal Government; it is democratic because the people govern themselves; and it is a republic because the Government's power is derived from its people.

A procedural constitution defines the legal and political structures of public institutions and sets out the legal limits of government power in order to protect democratic processes and fundamental human rights

While often categorized as a democracy, the United States is more accurately defined as a constitutional federal republic. The Constitution not only provides the framework for how the federal and state governments are structured, but also places significant limits on their powers.

kaheart [24]
Why it was almost impossible for one party to win a majority because the candidate(s) were represented by north or south. Most south obviously didn’t vote for the north and vice Versa. Since the majority was 50/50 or very close it was almost impossible for one party to win a majority. (You can copy this i didn’t use a website)
