Lemonade:
From the given information, you can write an linear equation like this:
$2x + $3(100 - x) = 240
First, you have to distribute them = 2x + 300 - 3x
Then, you have to add like terms = 1x + 300=240
Next, you have to transpose 300 to the left = -1x = 300 - 240
So, you have to subtract = -1x = -60
And, you solve = -60 = -60 So x = 60
60 cups of lemonade sold

Orange:
100 - x = 100 - 60 = 40 cups of orange juice sold
So you can check our answer by using the original linear equation
2x + 3( 100 - x) = 240 2(60) + 3 (100 - 60) = 240 120 + 3(40) = 240 120 + 120 = 240 240 = 240

Hope this helps! ;)

Answer:

10 rocks

Step-by-step explanation:

The cost on startup is $10 and each painted rock cost around $0.75 to make. A store pays startup cost and buy painted rocks for $0.75 each there no profit because the cost price and selling price is the same.

Given two angles that measure 50 degrees and 80 degrees and side that measures 4 feet, how many triangles, if any, can be constr
kirza4 [7]
The angles are the only constraint here that counts.  If one of the three interior angles of a supposed triangle is 50 degrees and another is 80 degrees, then the third angle must be 50 degrees.  Thus, we have a 50-50-80 triangle, which is isosceles though not a right triangle.  If 4 feet is a measure of one of the equal sides of a supposed triangle, then obviously the adjacent side also has measure 4 ft.

The set of angles remains the same (50-50-80), but subject to the constraint mentioned above, the measure of any one of the sides has infinitely many possible values, so long as those values are positive.
