What is it called when water turns into a solid
drek231 [11]

Answer:

Water is a liquid at room temperature, but becomes a solid (called ice) if it is cooled down. The same water turns into a gas (called water vapor) if it is heated up. The changes only happen when the substance reaches a particular temperature. Water turns to ice at 32ºF (0ºC). This is known as its freezing point.

PLS PLS HELP ME!!!!
k0ka [10]

Answer:

here you go :)

Explanation:

Korean and Japanese share a similar system of proximal and distal demonstrative pronouns. They are both topic-prominent, null-subject languages. Both languages extensively utilize turning nouns into verbs via the "to do" helper verbs. They both lack a compulsory distinction of plurality. Korean and the Japonic languages are among the few extant languages in the world with topic markers.

The topic of similarity between the two languages can be politically controversial due to the historical relationship between Japan and Korea, particularly the language policy of Japanese-ruled Korea. Recent population genetic studies reveal that modern Koreans and Japan share as much as a 90 percent overlap in ancestry. The relationship between the languages remains controversial. The Transeurasian hypothesis by Robbeets et al, supported by computational linguistics and archeological evidence, suggests a genealogical link between the Korean and Japanese populations. Korean, Japanese, and Chinese characters are used in Japanese orthography, with the exception of North Korea, where they are used for limited academic, legal, media, stylistic and disambiguation purposes in South Korea today, while eliminated in North Korea.

Japanese and Korean have different native scripts, although a common denominator is the presence of Chinese characters. Japanese doesn't have separate verb forms for attributive verbs, just a predicative verb before a noun. Korean uses distinct conjugations for making attributive verb forms in three tenses. Japanese uses the non-past (present) tense for future events, whereas Korean uses the past tense. The Japanese perfective has two meanings when the stem is an intransitive verb, and it depends on the context.

Some linguists argue that Korean has two tenses (past, present) or four (greater past, past, present, future), and some even argue that Korea has no tense at all but only aspects. The three tense theory is generally accepted but still remains controversial. Japanese has distinct attributiveverb forms for nouns and verbs, but Korean has distinct verb forms to make attributive nouns for verbs. Korean has separate particles for the present perfect and present progressive so their meanings are morphologically different. Japanese's perfective can have two meanings, depending on context; present perfect (e.g. 牾) or the present progressive ( e.g., 走guarded)

Zigmanuir [339]

Producers are able to convert light and heat energy into chemical energy, which is used for food is the role of glucose play during photosynthesis.

Glucose is employed by plants for energy and to form other substances like cellulose and starch. Cellulose is employed in building cell walls.

During photosynthesis, plants trap light energy with their leaves. Plants use the energy of the sun to vary water and CO2 into a sugar called glucose.

What is the role of glucose in photosynthesis and respiration?

 • Photosynthesis converts CO2 and water into oxygen and glucose. Glucose is employed as food by the plant and oxygen may be a by-product.

 • Cellular respiration converts oxygen and glucose into water and CO2. Water and CO2 are by-products and ATP is energy that's transformed from the method.

Therefore option A is correct, glucose plays a role as Producers are able to convert light and heat energy into chemical energy, which is used for food.

1. Compare and contrast the three components of a sustainable society. The three components are ecological integrity, social jus
zvonat [6]

Answer:

Sustainability is the ability to meet the needs of present population without compromising the needs of future generation. The three components are:

1. Environmental sustainability

2. Social sustainability and

3. Economic sustainability

Explanation:

1. In comparison, the three components are inter related as misuse of one component will lead to drastic result on another. Adequate environmental management can only be possible where the economic management is handled well to mitigate its effect on the environment, through enactment of sustainable laws that will help the growth in the economy of a nation without compromising the environmental well being of the nation.

In contrast, the three can hinder the growth of others through wrong use of natural resources for economic growth, without concern for the negative effects they will have on the environment, while jettisoning those laws that have the ability to protect the environment and bring balance to the three components.

It is possible for the three components to work together to achieve equilibrium. This can be achieved where every component is considered in planning for the society.

Sustainable economic growth can be achieved when adequate and healthy laws are put in place in the management of the natural resources. Economic growth is derived by using the earth's resources for the good of the people. Bu that has tendency of putting undue pressure on the resources, thereby leading to their fast depletion. Therefore, enacting specific laws and guidelines in the orderly use and management of these resources will result in economic growth without harm to the environment.

However, there are difficulties most times in maintaining this equilibrium. This can come by way of greedy capitalists who can go any length to sabotage sound social justice to achieve economic prosperity at the detriment of the environment. Corrupt leaders, can team up with corrupt business men and exploit environment for economic progress.

2. A good example in fresh water marshes unit where humans are emulating the nature can be seen from lots of acts and conventions to protect the environment. Such act like Fresh water Acts of 1972 which was enacted to protect the chemical, physical and biological integrity of nation's water, thereby reducing the pollution of water and its components.

3. As an individual i can contribute to sustainability of these three components by the followings:

a. Proper farm ethics and encourage 3 R's of waste management reuse, recycle and reduce. This will reduce to manageable level the burden on the resources of the earth.

b. Obey and support all the laws, conferences and conventions aimed at sustaining the environment

c. Avoid greedy and sharp business practices that will have negative effects on the immediate environment.
