Mr. Anderson eats per day = 2800 calories.

Doctor has advised him to reduce his caloric intake by 15%.

We have to find his total calories intake per day by using two different ways.

First method is, We will find 15% of 2800 calories.

15% of 2800 calories = (2800)(\frac{15}{100})

= \frac{(2800)(15)}{100}

= \frac{42000}{100}

= 420 calories

Now Mr. Anderson's calories intake reduced by 420 calories.

So his daily caloric intake = (2800 - 420) calories = 2380 calories.

Second method is,

Here given, calories intake reduced by 15%.

So, his caloric intake is (100-15)% = 85%.

Now we have to find 85% of 2800 calories.

85% of 2800 = (2800)(\frac{85}{100})

= \frac{(2800)(85)}{100}

= \frac{238000}{100}

= 2380 calories

So we have got the required answer.

His daily caloric intake is 2380 calories.

2800 x 0.15 = 2380.
2800-15% = 2380
does that help. also 2380 is his new daily caloric intake

Given: AC bisects angle BCD , Angle ABC is congruent to angle ADC prove AB is congruent to AD. Help immediately
weeeeeb [17]

<em>AC bisects ∠BAD, => ∠BAC=∠CAD ..... (1)</em>

<em>thus in ΔABC and ΔADC,    ∠ABC=∠ADC (given), </em>

<em>                                       ∠BAC=∠CAD      [from (1)],</em>

<em>AC (opposite side side of ∠ABC) = AC (opposite side side of ∠ADC), the common side between ΔABC and ΔADC</em>

<em>Hence,      by AAS axiom, ΔABC ≅ ΔADC,</em>

<em>Therefore,  BC (opposite side side of ∠BAC) = DC (opposite side side of ∠CAD),  since (1)</em>

Hence, BC=DC proved.
