We can solve simple algebras by reversing the mathematical symbols and shifting the number or unknown to the other side of the equation.
+ turns to -
x turns to ÷
(or vice versa)

So, first step to solve this,
shift +1 to the other side, turn it into -1.
3x = 3 - 1
3x = 2
Now, shift x3 to the other side, turn it into ÷3.
x = 2 ÷ 3
x = 2/3 (or 0.6666666...)

WVXZ is a parallelogram. Given that <ZXV = 70° and <WZX =4y+34, find y and m<Z
rjkz [21]

Answer:

WZX = 110

y = 19

Step-by-step explanation:

We can create the following equation to solve for y.

4y + 34 + 70 = 180

Reduce

4y = 76

y = 19

We then plug into 4y + 34 to get angle

WZX = 110

A person can pay $14 for a membership to the history museum and then go to the museum for just $5 per visit. What is the maximum
umka2103 [35]
Hi there!
First we subtract 44-14 leaving us with 30. 5x6 = 30
Therefore, a member can visit a history museum 6 times to equal a total cost of $44.
In a different situation:
If the person has already paid the $14, and that doesn’t count as a visit, then a person would have to visit a museum 8 times to get a total of $45. Considering this is a real-world problem.
I hope this helps and have a good day :) !

Are collinear points coplanar?
Anna35 [415]

collinear points are points in the same line, like

●-----------------●------------------------------------------●

and the line will always be contained by a plane, so since the line is in a plane, all points in it will also be in the same plane, and therefore be coplanar.
