Which of the following is not a way in which the hormone method of birth control prevents pregnancy
arlik [135]

Answer:

Sometimes ovaries release extra eggs.

Explanation:

Birth control or the pill is a pill that's taken on a daily basis and it contains hormones (estrogen and progesterone), in order to change the way the body works and prevent unwanted pregnancies. In this case, the pill controls ovaries and uterus. Most of the pills are mixed pills and work in order to prevent ovulation ( releasing egg during monthly circle ). While on the pill, a woman can't ovulate because there is no egg to be fertilized. It also thickens the mucus around the cervix and makes it difficult for sperm to get to the uterus and reach any extra eggs that may have been released. The hormones in the pill sometimes also affect the lining of the uterus and make it hard for an egg to get attached to the wall of the uterus.
