he 1911 Chinese Revolution ended the rule of the qing dinasty.

The Xinhai Revolution, also called the Chinese Revolution or the Revolution of 1911, was a revolution that overthrew China's last imperial dynasty (the Qing dynasty) and established the Republic of China (ROC).

The king dynasty was established in 1636, and run China proper from 1644 to 1912.  It was preceded by the Ming dynasty and succeeded by the Republic of China.
