Sedimentary rock is one of the three main rock groups (along with igneous and metamorphic rocks) and is formed in four main ways: by the deposition of the weathered remains of other rocks (known as 'clastic' sedimentary rocks); by the accumulation and the consolidation of sediments; by the deposition of the results of biogenic activity; and by precipitation from solution.

Answer:

Cooling

Explanation:

Rocks are of different types. One of those types is the Sedimentary rock, which is the type made from sediments of rocks that have once existed. These rocks don't just appear out of nowhere, they gradually develop in a series of processes. The processes involved in the formation of sedimentary rocks are: weathering, eroding, transportation, deposition and cementation.

Weathering, which is the first process, involves breaking down of pre-existing rocks which are then carried by certain physical forces like wind, water etc. This process is called erosion. The washed material is then transported away from the original site, to be deposited in another environment. The deposited material/sediments then undergo a compaction and cementing process where the rock particles glue together to eventually form the sedimentary rock. This process is called Lithification.

Therefore, cooling is not one of the processes that forms sedimentary rocks.

Why is nitrogen important?
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

Nitrogen is a constituent element and is part of many compounds in plants.

Explanation:

Nitrogen is a building block and there is no process in plants that is not affected by nitrogen.

If there is not enough nitrogen in the soil, the growth decreases, the leaves are yellow, pale green, chlorosis occurs, the root is removed, its branching is reduced, the yield and quality of fruits are reduced.

Why is damage to the heart more serious than damage to the liver ?
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

Heart failure can rob your liver of the blood it needs to work. The fluid buildup that comes with it puts extra pressure on the portal vein, which brings blood to your liver. This can scar the organ to the point where it doesn't work as well as it should.
