Direct Democracy, also referred to as Pure Democracy is that democracy in which the people vote or form consensuses on certain decisions and initiatives. In contrast to that, similar but also very different is Representative Democracy - where people elect representatives who make decisions on initiatives. In this example the people themselves make a decision and choose something, instead of choosing one member of the group to make the decision, which makes it a perfect example of Direct Democracy.

Transactional leadership is a leadership style that employs rewards and punishments for motivating followers and  where leader lays emphasis on his relation with followers.

Transformational leadership is a leadership style in which the leader employs charisma and enthusiasm to inspire his followers and where leader lays emphasis on the values, ideals, morals and needs of the followers.
