Determine whether the following passage is (or contains) an argument. "If American business is to regain an advantageous positio
n in the international marketplace, it must recreate a climate of flexibility and entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, the trend is to seek personal success not through entrepreneurship but through professionalism, as a continued climb in the number of advanced degrees in business and law confirms. If this tendency to seek personal security and prestige by joining the ranks of the professionally comfortable continues, the real winners will be Americaâs overseas competitors." Irving Greenberg
The above statement tells us that seeking entrepreneurship will be the best approach to a flexible and good economic climate for the country and also supports the claim by stating that professionalism in the form of employment has become the norm instead. Note an argument is a supportive statement(premise) made to support and give evidence for the conclusion.
A couple good questions would be: (assuming it's an experiment) Can it be redone with the same result and can the information being used be cited. Hope it helps!
The different amounts of influence in each field can determine the amount of money a country gets through exports and imports. The economy is also determined by the amount of influence. Poverty is related to the economy because if the economy is poor, the chances of being in poverty are very high.
