Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer: C. 30 - 50 million years ago

Explanation:

Fossils found in layer Y formed 30 million years ago according to the graph above. Similarly, fossils found in layer Z formed 50 million years ago.

If a fossil (fern fossil) is found between layer Y and layer Z, it means that it formed between the years that the fossils in layers Y and Z formed which is 30 - 50 million years ago.

Kay [80]

Answer:

A site

Explanation:

During the process of translation, ribosomes play a major role in connecting mRNA codons with tRNA anticodons. Ribosomes are composed of  two subunits which consist ofproteins and rRNA. The tree sites of ribosomes are:

  • P site or peptidyl site-this site binds to the tRNA which holds the growing polypeptide chain.
  • A site or acceptor site-this is a site of peptide bond formation between the growing polypeptide and the next incoming amino acid
  • E site or exit site-the site for the final binding of t-RNA .

Compare and contrast the structure and function of a compound light microscope and a scanning electron microscope. Be sure to di
Artyom0805 [142]
<span>Basically both operate by bouncing tiny particles or waves off of objects in order to make them visible. Electrons are smaller than light photons so we can see smaller objects clearly with electron microscopes. There are disadvantages though. First, color is a function of light wave frequency so we can't see electron micrographs in color. Color can be added artificially though by computer to differentiate structures, (think photoshop). Also, we cannot see electrons so we make them visible by bouncing them off a cathode ray screen similar to a TV set or computer monitor</span>
