Answer: Fossil fuels are used in many ways by the humans. Coal is used in industries, petroleum is used in vehicles and industries, petrochemicals are used in dyes, synthetic fibres, perfumes etc,  and natural gas is used rubber industry and as CNG. These fossil fuel affect the earth .When we use these fossil fuels, then a large amount of harmful substances are released, which is very harmful to the environment. For example : When petrol is being used ,it releases carbon dioxide. CO2 traps the solar energy which results in the increase of the average temperature of the earth, resulting in global warming.
