African is a continent that was colonize majorly by the British, Portuguese and France. Colonization is known to be one way the whites used in exploiting Africa Continent.

  • The major factor responsible for African colonization were  economic, political and religious factors. When colonization was taking place in Africa, an economic depression was known to happen in Europe, Germany, France, and Great Britain.

Britain and France were said to be in competition always. Britain was known to be the dominant all powerful nation in Europe in the 1700s.

European countries, example Spain, England, and France  were said to be in competition as they aim to increase their wealth and power through the spread or expansion of their empires to America.

'The White Man's Burden'' was known to be a popular poem by Rudyard Kipling. It was known to be published in 1899. The poem talks about the United States' movement from isolationism. It also means the said duty of white colonizers to care for non-white Indigenous people in their colonial lands.
