Answer:

The gland that produces adrenaline is the adrenal gland.

Explanation:

The adrenal gland are endocrine glands, which produce several very important hormones that help regulate blood pressure, fluids and body salt, as well as the adrenaline we need during stress. The hormones they produce are aldosterones, adreline and part of the sex hormones. The adrenal glands interact with the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland in the brain.

Each adrenal gland is equivalent to two endocrine glands: one more external, the adrenal cortex (which constitutes 80% of the gland - secret mineralcorticoids, glucocortucoids and androgens ) , and another more internal, the adrenal medulla (which constitutes 20% of the gland - secret catecholamines: adreline, norepinephrine and dopamine).

Adrenaline, also known as epinephrine, is one of those polyvalnt substances that our body uses to regulate different body processes.

How does gene therapy work to reverse the causes of cancer we learned about today?
tatiyna

Answer:

Explanation:

In gene transfer, researchers introduce a foreign gene directly into cancer cells or into surrounding tissue. The goal is that the newly inserted gene will cause the cancer cells to die or prevent cancer cells and surrounding tissue from funneling blood to tumors, depriving them of nutrients they need for survival.

Which of the following statements is true according to Mendel's law of segregation?
musickatia [10]

Answer:

D. Offspring only receive one version of their parents' traits.

Explanation:

To be specific, they receive on version of each parent. Traits are segregated during gamete formation, where one version of the trait comes from one parent, and the other version of that same trait comes from the other parent. When they join during fertilization, a new organism is made through the combination of the traits. However, the trait that will be expressed, according to Mendel, would be the one that is dominant.
