I believe the best way to build a positive relationship is to have trust. Trust is always required in everything, and without it the people in the relationship have nothing to depend on to make their relationship last.

The best way to build a POSITIVE relationship is by being honest about who you are and what you say, trusting the person you're trying to build a relationship with and making sure to love/care for them no matter what they did or look like. It is best to do these things so that person knows they can trust you which in long terms can create a strong bond between you and the other person.
