Mathematics

Well take the two ratios and simplify down.
(10) (5)(2) (5)
----- = ------- = -----
(14) (7)(2) (7)

(30) (5)(6) (5)
----- = -------- = -----
(36) (6)(6) (6)

So we simplified both fractions down to:
(5) (5)
----- ------
(7) (6)

Since we know (5/7) and (5/6) are not equal, we know that they are not proportional.

Answer:

10, 22, 48.4, 106.48, 234.256

Step-by-step explanation:

The first term is already given it is 10.

The second term is the first term times 2.2.

10×2.2=22

The second term is 22.

The third term is the second term times 2.2.

22×2.2=48.4

The third term is 48.4.

The fourth term is the third term times 2.2.

48.4×2.2=106.48

The fourth term is 106.48.

The fifth term is the fourth term times 2.2.

106.48×2.2=234.256

The fifth term is 234.256.

Zolol [24]

The minimum initial deposit Arthur must make is $ 4.24.

Since Arthur is saving money to buy a used car in 8 months, and the car costs $ 2,180, and Arthur plans to start with an initial deposit and then deposit 25% more than the previous month until he has enough money to buy the car, to determine what is the minimum initial deposit Arthur must make the following calculation should be performed:

  • X x 1.25 x 1.56 x 1.95 x 2.44 x 3.05 x 3.81 x 4.76 = 2180
  • 514.10X = 2180
  • X = 2180 / 514.10
  • X = 4.24

Therefore, the minimum initial deposit Arthur must make is $ 4.24.
