4 1/2 divided by 2 is 2 1/4 so now we know that Blake burns 2 1/4 calories per 1/3 of a minute if we are trying to find a unit rate it needs to be every minute so 2 1/4 multiplied by 3 would be 6 3/4 every ( 1/3 x 3 = 1 minute)
The answer is 6 3/4 calories a minute

We are looking for the calories per minute....calories/minute.....

(4 1/2) / (2/3) =
(9/2) / (2/3) =
9/2 * 3/2 =
27/4 =
6 3/4 (or 6.75) calories per minute <==

The sum of two numbers is 52, and the difference between the numbers is 2. Find the numbers.
geniusboy [140]
The difference between them is 2, so let the unknown numbers be x and (x+2).

Their sum is 52, so:
52 = x + (x+2)
52 = x + x + 2
50 = x + x
50 = 2x
25 = x

So your unknown numbers x and (x+2) are 25 and 27.

miss Akunina [59]

If an angle is a central angle, meaning that it goes through the center, then its corresponding arc has the same measure.

AOT is a central angle, which means that AT will have the same measure.

AOT = 97, AT = 97

Answer: A, 97

Hope this helps!

Find the center and radius of the circle with equation (x + 3)^2 + (y – 6)^2 = 100.
Sonja [21]

Answer:

center         (-3,6)

radius(r)         10

Step-by-step explanation:

The center-radius form (it is really called standard form) of a circle is:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

where (h,k) is the center and r is the radius.

Compare the following:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

(x+3)^2+(y-6)^2=100

You should see the following:

-h=3

-k=-6

r^2=100.

-h=3 \text{ implies }h=-3.

-k=-6 \text{ implies } k=6.

r^2=100 \text{ implies } r=\sqrt{100}=10.

So the center is (-3,6) and the radius is 10.

Determine the type of correlation.
ipn [44]

Answer:

Positive Correlation

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph shown as a positive correlation.

Two variables move in the same direction in a positive correlation.

You can also tell that the graph has a correlation that is positive because of the line moving in a upward direction from left to right.

Hope this helps.
