Since your answer needs to be in walls per gallon I would assume you divide 4/5 by 5/8 since that would tell you how many walls he can paint in an hour.
4/5 walls÷5/8 gallons=1.28walls/gallon.

I hope this helps.  Let me know if anything is unclear.

Answer:

Unit rate at which Martin paints in walls per gallon is \frac{32}{25} wall/gallon.

Explanation:

Rate is defined as ratio between two quantities with different units.

Gallons of paint used by Martin = \frac{5}{8} gallons

Portion of wall Martin wishes to pint = \frac{4}{5} wall

Rate at which Martin paints the wall:

Rate=\frac{\text{Portion of wall covered}}{\text{Paint used}}

Rate=\frac{\frac{4}{5} wall}{\frac{5}{8} gallon}=\frac{32}{25} wall/gallon

Unit rate at which Martin paints in walls per gallon is \frac{32}{25} wall/gallon.

Cedrick & Astrid titrated a 10.00 mL aliquot of grapefruit juice with a 0.171 M NaOH solution to the end point. They calcula
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

17 mg/ml.

Explanation:

Since NaOH was titrated against Citric acid in the grape fruit, therefore

Converting g to mg,

0.1698 g * 1000 mg/1 g

= 169.8 mg

Volume of grapefruit juice = 10 ml

Mass of Citric acid in ml of juice = 169.8/10

= 17 mg/ml.

Calculate the molarity of a kcl solution prepared by dissolving 0.898 moles of kcl in 250. ml of water
prohojiy [21]
  the molarity  of KCl  solution prepared by dissolving 0.898 mole of KCl in 250 ml water  is calculated using the below  formula

 molarity= moles/volume in liters

moles= 0.898 moles
volume in liters= 250/1000 =0.25 liters

molarity is therefore= 0.898/0.25= 3.592 M
