The model demonstrating the importance of solar energy for life on Earth in which the student should make is a model of a local food web
All food chains begin by receiving the energy of the sun. This energy is captured by plants which are the producer link in the chain. Plants are able to utilize the light energy from the sun to produce food such as sugar from carbon dioxide and water.

Explanation:

 • The natural host of the virus is Fruit bat but it can also infect humans.
 • The transmission of the virus into humans is mediated from infected bats through body fluids.
 • The major disease caused by the virus is is Hemorrhagic fever. In this disease, the platelet (responsible for clotting of blood) count in the blood drops far below normal. As a result, bleeding can get initiated both in the body interior or exterior. This disease can cause multiple organ failure and death.

Explain why the cane toad was a failure as a biological control method in Australia.
kakasveta [241]
The cane toad was a failure as a biological control method in Australia because:
-The greyback beetle it was supposed to be eating fed at the top of the sugarcane stalks (which were 6-8 meters in height). Cane toads cannot fly or climb and therefore couldnt feed on the beetles.
-The beetles were out during the daytime, and cane toads feed at night.
-The two species are not seasonally compatible (aren't in the same place at the same time of year).
-The toads needed moist conditions to survive, and so moved away from where they were supposed to be.
-The cane toad eats many native species and often out-competes native species for food and breeding sites, leading to the decline of natives.
-Breeding habits made the cane toads a very invasive species.

In order to improve fat digestion, large fat globules must first be dispersed into smaller droplets in a process called ________
Ludmilka [50]

In order to improve fat digestion, large fat globules must first be dispersed into smaller droplets in a process called emulsification.

What is emulsification in the digestive system?

Fat emulsification is the process of increasing the surface area of fats in the small intestine by grouping them into small clusters. Large lipid globules are split up into a number of smaller lipid globules. In the chyme, these tiny globules are widely dispersed rather than aggregating into larger groups. Hydrophobic compounds include lipids. Bile salts, are present in bile and have both hydrophilic and hydrophobic sides.

Due to the fact that lipases can only effectively act on lipids when they are broken down into small aggregates, emulsification is crucial for the digestion of lipids. The lipids are converted into fatty acids and glycerides by lipases.
