La tecnología juega un papel preponderante en la fabricación de juguetes o juegos que han servido de entretenimiento en la historia de la humanidad.

Desde los juguetes más sencillos de papel o madera en tiempos antiguos, hasta modernos y fantásticos video juegos en aplicaciones móviles en nuestros aparatos celulares. Desde tiernos y creativos juegos recreativos que no necesitaban de nada, solo el ingenio del niño hace muchos años, hasta complejos parques de diversiones con atracciones modernas en donde se combina la velocidad con la tecnología y el asombro.

Así es como ha avanzado la industria del juego y del juguete, haciendo uso de la mercadotecnia para crear necesidades en donde no las hay, suprimiendo la creatividad y el ingenio natural del niño para vender costosos sistemas digitales modernos.
