So... I still don't understand the Electoral College... It really confuses me can someone please answer this for me in a way tha
Dvinal [7]

electoral college vote is the amount of votes a state receives. so when you vote you vote for president a or president b.

if you vote for b and the majority of your state votes for a all of the electoral college votes go towards president a. each state has a certain amount of votes depending on the population of your state.

the pro are that you vote as a state

the cons are it doesnt really seem like democracy since its the"states" that are voting not the people. so there is 51 states and the president who wins certain states with the big numbers "electoral votes" will win the election.

its a way to simplify votes.

When mediating a conflict, you should ask leading questions.
a. True
b. False?
lara31 [8.8K]

That statement is false

Leading question refers to the question that is thrown out to obtain the answer that we want. If a mediator throw a leading question, both parties tend to directly blame each other which prevent the mediator to provide a solution. What the mediator should do is listening to both perspective first and used it as a basis to make a solution.

While watching a baseball game at recess one day, 10-year-old kevin wonders to himself "am i as good of a player as those kids a
murzikaleks [220]
This illustrates the concept of social comparison. It is very likely that Kevin is just as good as these other kids but he may not see it that way. He is probably comparing himself to the best players not the average players. When comparing we usually look at the best and not what is the average.
