The answer is D because the whole point of a metaphor is to compare things in a unique way and it makes people really think.

I hope this helped :)

It's probably D
because metaphors are actually quite difficult to understand in most cases so it's not A and B just seems like another stylistic device and C idk

Which statement best summarizes "Save the Coral Reefs”?
vazorg [7]
I think the correct answer would be C. The best summary of the text "Save the Coral Reefs" would be

Construction along the coasts, overfishing, and bleaching have seriously damaged the world’s coral reefs. Since reefs are a very important part of the ocean’s ecosystem, their destruction has a devastating environmental impact, and we must work to protect them.
Coral reefs are known to be very fragile which are made of limestone. People who would build coastal regions and those who overfish should be stopped as these activities ruin and damage the corals which would ruin the habitat of the fishes and other aquatic organisms.

3) How do the challenges of Razor's Edge affect Kevin Jorgeson's climb?
andrezito [222]

Answer:

In California's Yosemite National Park, the summit of the iconic El Capitan rock formation looms 3,000 feet above its base. Though El Capitan's vertical granite has always presented a challenge for climbers, its southeastern face, known as the Dawn Wall, is thought to be the most punishing.
