Effectus [21]

Normal or random variations that are considered part of operating the system at its current capability are c. common cause variations.

Explanation:

Common cause variation is fluctuation caused by unknown factors resulting in a steady but random distribution of output around the average of the data.

Common-cause variation is the natural or expected variation in a process.

Common-cause variation is characterised by:

 1. Phenomena constantly active within the system
 2. Variation predictable probabilistically
 3. Irregular variation within a historical experience base

It is a measure of the process potential, or how well the process can perform when special cause variation removed.

Common cause variation arises from external sources that are not inherent in the process and is where statistical quality control methods are most useful.

Statistical process control charts are used when trying to monitor and control 5- and 6-sigma quality levels.

If this does not work I would suggest you get a video that can explain it better than I possibly would? Considering the Sims 2 was made a while back you would maybe want somebody with a little more experience.

The cost to ship a package is a flat fee of 75 cents plus 25 cents per pound.
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

The following alterations are done to the program

1. Replace /* Your solution goes here */ with

const int CENTS_PER_POUND = 25;

cout<<"Ship Weight Pounds: ";

cin>>shipWeightPounds;

2. Include

shipCostCents = FLAT_FEE_CENTS + CENTS_PER_POUND * shipWeightPounds;

after

cout << ", Cents per lb: " << CENTS_PER_POUND;

Explanation:

See attachment for complete program as it should be ordered

This line declares CENTS_PER_POUND as a constant integer and it also initializes the variable to 25

const int CENTS_PER_POUND = 25;

This prompts the user for the weight of the shipping items (in pounds)

cout<<"Ship Weight Pounds: ";

This gets user input for the weight of the shipping item

cin>>shipWeightPounds;

.............................

........

...

This calculates the cost of shipping the item

shipCostCents = FLAT_FEE_CENTS + CENTS_PER_POUND * shipWeightPounds;
