She did what ever it took to take her passengers to safe land. Also, she would always head the same direction, but used different paths. Therefore, if some slave when back and told the others which path she took, they would not find her because the routs she'd take weren't the same. She was the conductor, and they were the passengers.

How does this painting represent manifest destiny?
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

It shows people moving westward bringing everything with them. This shows that they started expanding the country westward. Then the fact that the bulls are running away from the horses shows that in order to take control, we tried to push out all the animal and people that lived in the land we wanted in the process. The huge angel trampling things shows that we didn't really care what we destroyed as long as we got what we wanted, and because we thought we were right

Explain the Plessy v. Ferguson case. How is this significant to Jim Crow and the racial separation/tension in the early 1900s?
alexandr1967 [171]
The Plessy v. Ferguson case ruled that racial segregation in schools was constitutional as long as the schooling remained equal for both races. This fueled racial tension because African Americans disagreed with having to be segregated from whites, especially in schools. The schooling was also far from equal, and African American students did not receive the same learning opportunities.

What was the impact of farming on the development of the Mesopotamian civilization?
Evgesh-ka [11]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The impact of farming on the development of the Mesopotamian civilization was that Sumerians learned to develop agricultural techniques and how to take advantage of the flooding of the rivers to have fertile soil to grow crops in ancient Sumeria. This generated a great impact because farming allowed humans to settle in one territory, instead of continuing to be nomads.

Sumeria is considered to be the oldest civilization on planet Earth. Sumerians settled in the middle of the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers, in modern-day Iraq, in the Middle East Region. The impact of farming allowed Sumerians to establish important and powerful city-states such as Kish, Eridu, Ur, Lagash, Uruk, and Nippur.
