Henry Ford was the first entrepreneur to implement assembly line production. There is some discussion as to whether it was actually Ford himself that truly came up with the idea of bringing the assembly line into the factory, but it cannot be argued that never before had it been done with quite that level of success.

Japan's lack of resources means that it requires them to depend on other nations to provide the raw materials to produce goods. Since japan had very little resources, they turned to neighboring countries for a solution. They first invaded Manchuria and then made their way through parts of china. The U.S then began an embargo of oil to Japan, which put them over the brink.
