So you have to add the fractions

54/100 plus 4/10 so the 10 have to become 100 like the denominator of the first fraction . So you have multiply 10 by 10 = 100 and then you have to multiply 4 by 10 = 40

so is 54/100 + 40/100 just add the 54 and 40 = 94

so the answer is 94/100

54/100 plus 4/10 so 4/10=40/100, 54/100 + 40/100= 94/100

6x+12=2(3x+6) someone please help me solve this
Archy [21]

Answer:

x = all real numbers

infinite solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

6x+12=2(3x+6)

Distribute

6x+12 = 6x+12

Subtract 6x from each side

12 =12

This is always true

This means there are infinite solutions for x

x is all real numbers

Whats the distance between points p1=(-3,5) P2=(4,2)
leva [86]

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find the vector.

= (4,2) - (-3,5)

= (4-(-3),2-5)

= (7,-3)

And then, find the distance.

= √(7² + (-3)²)

= √(49 + 9)

= √58 ✓

What is an equation of the line that passes through the points (4,-2) and (8,3)?
Maslowich

Answer:

y-4=\frac{5}{4} (x+2)

Step-by-step explanation:

First you can find the slope of the line that would pass through those two points using the formula:

m = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

m = \frac{3-(-2)}{8-4}

m=5/4

Now you can just plug the slope and one of the points into point-slope form for an equation of the line that will pass through both points. You can choose either point here: I'll just use the first one.

So,

y-4=\frac{5}{4} (x+2)

(don't leave out the parentheses!)
