After a long period of time, if a limestone has undergone extreme heat and pressure from below the Earth's surface, its configuration and composition changes to form a recrystallized limestone known as marble, which can contain over 95% calcium carbonate.

I hope this helps you and have a great day!! :)

Igneous rocks are formed when rock is super-heated and becomes molten (liquid). There are two kinds of molten rock: magma (found beneath the Earth’s surface) and lava (found on the Earth’s surface). The molten rock cools and hardens on or beneath the Earth’s surface forming a variety of igneous rock. Two examples are granite and basalt.

A small number of finches live in a protected bird sanctuary. Natural selection
Vlad [161]

Answer:

Natural selection  is least likely to occur in this population if:

  • The resources are continuously available

For a species to survive in an area, it is essential that the place has enough resources like nutrients, space, water etc. If these resources are available then there will be less chances of competition which will lead to lesser chances of natural selection.

  • The number of of death rates is equal to the number of of birth rates

In an balanced ecosystem, the number of birth rates is equal to the number of death rates for a population. If the number of death rates is lesser to the number of birth rates then the competition for resources will lead to natural selection.

Explain why it is important for daughter cells to have a full set of chromosomes. Use complete sentences.
Leya [2.2K]
In mitosis a cell divides to form two identical daughter cells. It is important that the daughter cells have a copy of every chromosome, so the process involves copying the chromosomes first and then carefully separating the copies to give each new cell a full set. Before mitosis, the chromosomes are copied.
