The solar system has eight number of planets, of which four are the inner planets and four are outer planets. Within the solar s

ystem, the earth lies between Venus and Mars. Life exists on earth. It has a specific atmospheric constitution. The earth maintains an elliptical path around the sun. It completes one complete revolution once every 365 and 1/2 day. Earth is very close to the sun at the Perihelion position and at Aphelion position it is the furthest. The moon is the natural satellite of earth that constantly goes around the earth as a result of which the earth experiences alternative day and night. Thus, the earth maintains a continuous relationship with the sun as well as the moon.

When is the only time a new justice may be appointed?
Usimov [2.4K]

The appointment and confirmation of Justices to the Supreme Court of the United States involves several steps set forth by the United States Constitution, which have been further refined and developed by decades of tradition. Candidates are nominated by the President of the United States and must face a series of hearings in which both the nominee and other witnesses make statements and answer questions before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which can vote to send the nomination to the full United States Senate.[1] Confirmation by the Senate allows the President to formally appoint the candidate to the court.[1] The Constitution does not set any qualifications for service as a Justice, thus the President may nominate any individual to serve on the Court.

Senate cloture rules historically required a two-thirds affirmative vote to advance nominations to a vote; this was changed to a three-fifths supermajority in 1975. In November 2013, the then-Democratic Senate majority eliminated the filibuster for executive branch nominees and judicial nominees except for Supreme Court nominees by invoking the so-called nuclear option. In April 2017, the Republican Senate majority applied the nuclear option to Supreme Court nominations as well,[2] enabling the nominations of Trump nominees Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to proceed to a vote.....

Hope this helps ;)

Who were ronald reagan and franklin d.Roosevelt and what viewpoint did they share about the president term office
ANTONII [103]

Ronald Reagan was the U. S. president from 1981 to 1989. Franklin D. Roosevelt was also a U. S. president. He served from 1933 to his death in 1945.

Both presidents had an interest in serving for more than 8 years, the currently-accepted maximum length for a presidential term. Franklin D. Roosevelt was president four times, due to his popularity and success in restoring the economy after the Great Depression. Serving for two four-year terms had been an unwritten rule since George Washington, but it was not a law, which enabled FDR to stay in power for longer.

After his death, Amendment XXII was passed, limiting the time a president could serve to two periods of four years. However, in 1987, Reagan made public his interest to get rid of this amendment. He argued that the change would not apply to him, but to leaders from then on.
