The dominance of two major parties in the US system tends to obscure representativeness of all US citizens. The bipartisan United States model does not work well. In a country with large geographical differences, where groups of various ethnic groups live, it would be logical to assume that a party system with only two parties would not reasonably reflect the aspirations and concerns of the many subcultures that flourish there. Therefore, it would be logical to expect that there would be a multiparty system in the country. But this is clearly a case in which expectations do not match reality.
There is no right or wrong answer to this question. This is very opinion based hence the "do you THINK.." What do you think? Do you think there should be more than 2 parties in the US political system (democratic and Republican), or do you think the way things are set up are fine? And why do you feel this way. If I were you, I'd research the democratic and republican party. Other than that, I can't give you a right or wrong answer or do your work for you. All I can do is tell you my opinion. Which I think it works fine. I personally feel more than one political party would complicate politics furthermore.
the way the media plays a role in the political process is that media helps candidates win by influencing the people viewing them to vote for the candidate advertise.
The US election isn't about winning the majority amount of votes. The real winner is who gets 270 votes in the electoral college. To do this, you need to win states with big votes, like California, Texas, New York, and Florida (:
