If a dog is tied to a rope 15 feet long, how can it reach a bone
adoni [48]

Answer:

The other end of the rope was not tied to anything

Step-by-step explanation:

The dog was tied to a rope of 15 feet  long and the bone was 30 feet away from where he was tied. The rope used to tie the dog is 15 ft long . But the other end of the rope wasn't tied to anything, this simply means the dog can easily approach and get the bone 30 ft away from where it was tied.

The other end of the rope was not tied to anything . This implies that the dog can simply reach the bone without breaking a sweat. The 15 feet rope was only tied to the dog , so it does not stop the dog from reaching a bone that is 30 ft away.

Three ladders measure 5 3/4 meters, and 7 1/4 meters in length. What is the difference between the longest and shortest lengths?
Dovator [93]
7 1/4 - 5 3/4= 1 1/2 because you can either 1) change it into decimals: 7.25-5.75 and do simple subtraction or... 2) u can change the 7 to a 6 and add 4 to the numerator of 1/4 making the equation 6 5/4 - 5 3/4 = 1 2/4 which simplified to 1 1/2 I hope I didn’t confuse you! :))

Randall had an AGI of $45,000. He had $1500 in medical expenses, paid $1356 in mortgage interest, and drove a company car for wo
ehidna [41]
Of the three mentioned items, Randall would not be able to claim his medical expenses on his itemized portion of his taxes because they would need to be at least 10% of his AGI.

10% of $45000 is $4500.

His mortgage interest is deductible.

The vehicle expenses (not reimbursed by the company) that he incurs from driving the company car would be deductible.  This would only be the amount over 2% of the AGI.

So, anything over 2% of $45000 (over $900 in gas, etc.. not reimbursed by the company) would be deductible.
