People that are eligible for Medicade have to be a resident of Texas and a US National Citizen. They have to have a very low income and depending on the number of poeple in the household it may vary.
Fill out an application in the Health Insurance Marketplace. When you finish the application, it will tell you which programs you and your family qualify for. If it looks like anyone is eligible for Medicaid and/or CHIP, it will let the state agency know so you can enroll. You may qualify for free or low cost care through medicaid based on income and family size.
