Was the Vietnam War overwhelmingly popular among American civilians?
ElenaW [278]
At early stages, yes, very soon they lost all popularity, even among the conservatives. That is because at first the idea behind it was that it was honorable and good because it stopped communism. Very soon everyone realized what kind of a hell the war was and that it was pointless and that there would be no problems with them even if they did turn into a Communist state. The negative effect it had on people was unspeakable.

Stels [109]

Answer: The Captivity of Judah.

Explanation:

Jehoiakim had been put into power by the Egyptian King, Pharaoh Nico who had defeated Judah as he marched to face the Babylonians. When the Babylonians defeated the Egyptians, Jehoiakim became a vassal to Nebuchadnezzar I of Babylon.

Jeremiah was a renowned prophet in Judah at the time and prophesied that due to Jehoiakim's many sinful ways, Judah would fall and be captured. This came to pass when Jehoiakim rebelled against the Babylonians and Nebuchadnezzar came and defeated Judah and killed Jehoiakim.

How did the Columbian Exchange impact the movement of people around the world?
navik [9.2K]

The Colombian exchange had a huge impact on the movement of people around the world. It opened the gates to two new continents. The indigenous people saw an invasion by people from Europe at first, people from other race and culture. The Europeans later started to bring in Africans on these two continents as well. As the time was passing, more and more people, from more and more countries and continents wanted to migrate toward these parts of the world. As those societies became more open toward migration, there was an influx of multiple different European ethnic groups, multiple different African ethnic groups, and in lesser degree East Asian people as well. All that movement of different people, from different ethnic groups, races, cultures, created societies were people from all over the world live together, work together, prosper together.
