Answer:

tan(Q) is Option C  :  1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

\angle R = 90^0

\angle OPQ = 135^0

To Find:

tan(Q)

Solution:

Step 1: Finding the angle QPR

We know that the \angle OPQ and \angle QPR   are  supplementary angles. Then the sum of \angle OPQ and \angle QPR must be equal to 180 degrees

So

\angle OPQ +\angle QPR = 180^0

From the figure

135^0 +\angle QPR = 180^0

\angle QPR = 180^0 - 135^0

\angle QPR = 45^0

Step 2: Finding the angle PQR

Now we also know that The "Triangle Sum Theorem states" that the three interior angles of any triangle add up to 180 degrees.

According to this theorem , In the figure,

the sum of all  the interior angles in the triangle PQR

\angle P +\angle Q +\angle R = 180^0

Substituting the known values

45^0 +\angle Q +90^0 = 180^0

\angle Q +135^0 = 180^0

\angle Q = 180^0 - 135^0

\angle Q = 45^0

Step 3: Finding the tan(Q)

We now Know that \angle Q = 45^0

tan(Q) = tan(45^0) = 1

Answer:

Either increase the number of acres that can be used for strawberry fields (by buying more land)..If we use the same numbers from earlier, then the farmer should use approximately 16.65 acres of land (or just 17 acres of land)

So if the farmer has 17 acres of land or more, then he will make more than $70,000 per year

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the proportions from earlier

We have the point (5, 21000)

70,000/21,000 = 3.3

To find the x-value multiply 3.3 by 5

3.3 * 5 = 16.65

We can even use the other point's values to find the exact same answer

Point (3.5, 14700)

70,000/14,700= 4.7619047619

4.7619047619 * 3.5 = 16.66 (literally about the same)

Your math teacher gives you an extra credit problem to figure out her age. Half of her age three years
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

Teacher is 27 years old

Step-by-step explanation:

(1/2)(t - 3) = (1/3)(t + 9)

multiply by 6 to clear the fraction

3(t - 3) = 2(t + 9)

Distribute

3t - 9 = 2t + 18

Subtract 2t from both sides

t - 9 = 18

Add 9 to both sides

t = 27

Teacher is 27 years old
