In the “Destroy this Brute” poster, what is represented in the background? the end of hope the United States a destroyed Europe
Charra [1.4K]
Destroyed Europe--the ape is representing Germany and he has taken a lady (representing liberty). He is stepping onto the shores of America with Europe in the background destroyed.

This poster encourages support for US entry into World War I to protect the values of liberty in America. It suggests that Germany is made with power and will not stop with Europe but will continue to the US to destroy America as well.

Federalism decentralizes policies
True
False
tino4ka555 [31]

Answer: True

Explanation: Federalism decentralises politics and policy-making by devolving powers from what would be one central executive down to senators and governors. This means that policies which are debated and formulated are subject to both the central national government and the separate state governments.

What political promise made Mussolini and his fascist party popular in the 1920's?
JulsSmile [24]
I would say his popularity came from his pledge to restore 'order' in the country which was plagued by mass unemployment and strikes by socialists and communists. His blackshirts beat up socialists and communists. Obviously the socialists and communists opposed his rise as did many other working class people. Some of the middle class shopkeepers, doctors, lawyers etc worried about the rise of socialism in the new Soviet Union also supported him.
