Read the following excerpt and answer the question that follows.
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

Events are decided in advance by powers beyond one's control.

Explanation:

A fatalist is one who believes in fate (happening of events outside a person's control, predetermined by supernatural forces). This definition is also evident from the sentence which he himself says in explanation of fatalist i.e "What will be, will be", meaning what is bound to happen, will happen.

Option A is incorrect because fatalist is derived from fate, not fatal (deadly)

Options B and D are incorrect because they are opposite of what "fate/fatalist" mean.

How does Shelley use Frankenstein to address the societal concerns of the scientific revolution?
Lisa [10]

Shelley's Frankenstein is important because of the ethical dimensions of technology and its irony between science and creationism. Society feared technology back then and Shelley wrote an ironic story about a scientist who uses technology to build a terrorizing monster. The correct answer is obviously D.

Do you capitalize grandparents
Len [333]
No, grandparents is a common noun, therefore you don't capitalize it. It would be different if you had the names of the grandparents. Like if your grandma is named Martha. You would have to capitalize their name since it is a proper noun
