When Napoleon made a reverse decision to sell the Louisiana Territory completely to the United States and pull out of North Amer

ica to pursue his European ambitions, why did Jefferson see this as a constitutional dilemma?
He did not believe the Constitution gave him the right to add this expanse of territory via treaty.

He felt that he could not authorize the purchase since it was not in the best interest of United States to acquire Louisiana.

He did not feel that he had the authority to manage an area that had been formerly controlled by Spain and France.

He felt the purchase would eventually lead to war with both Spain and France.

He perceived this as a major threat to building relations with the European nations.

Answer:

  • "He did not believe the Constitution gave him the right to add this expanse of territory via treaty"

Explanation:

Thomas Jefferson, at that point President of the United States, was worried that the French may endeavor to close the port of New Orleans to American traffic. The Mississippi River by then was the country's essential port; if the U.S. were to lose access to New Orleans, the nation may be choked financially. Despite the fact that Jefferson was something of a Francophile and had little use for the British, he understood that such a circumstance may expect him to consult with the British, just on the grounds that they were at war with France and Napoleon.

Jefferson was concerned to the point that he kept in touch with his envoy in France: "The day that France takes possession of New Orleans, we must marry ourselves to the British fleet and nation."

Write an essay about having a dog
tiny-mole [99]

To begin with, having a dog can vary based on what type it is. If it's a smaller dog, they tend to be more submissive to make up for what they lack in size. A bigger dog would probably be a little more self confident in that they could play around a little with you. It truly depends on the dogs personality.

Starting off, dogs are an enormous responsibility. Even when people claim they'll take care of their dogs, it's hard to remember the little things. For instance, how much food they need a day, how many walks they need in a week, when they last went to the bathroom, and a bunch of other questions come to mind when dog owners are questioned about the brutality of owning a dog. It takes a lot more effort than often given credit for.

However, once you've established a healthy relationship, pattern, and schedule with a dog, life becomes a lot easier. You're able to better understand the dog's likes and dislikes, favorite people, least favorite sounds, etc. You can begin teaching your dog new tricks by using treats, tones of gratitude, and repetition to teach how you want your dog acting. It's hard to train a dog the older they get, so it's best to teach it as soon as it's physically ready.

Owning a dog is truly a fantastic experience. They honestly become an argument-free and non opinionated family member. They can give you the energy and motivation you need to go on a run in the mornings, if needed.
