I think the present goal of technology is to make our everyday work a lot easier, even if it is bit by bit. Any piece of technology around you can be a decent example of that, from a simple calculator to smartphones, computers or even a stapler for that matter. In the long run, technology can be successfully used to safeguard the well being of not only the human race, but the entire planet. We surely have a long way to go in that regard, but it’s definitely a possibility. Before the goal of technology was to make survival an easier endeavor.<span>
