I got 198in^2 because I broke the figure up into a triangle and a rectangle. then I thought of how much it would take for 13in to be congruent to 17in (which is 4). So I found that and I multiplied it by 7 to get the area of the triangle (28). And then to find the rectangle I multiplied 17×10 to get 170 and added 170+28 and got 198in^2

Find the measure of the arc or central angle indicated. Assume that lines which appear to be diameters are actual diameters.
vfiekz [6]

The measure of the Central Angle indicated is; 45°

How to find the central angle of a circle?

The central angle will be the angle subtended at the center by arc FE and arc CB.

Now, we see that angle ∠FOB = 135° and since we know that sum of angles on a straight line is 180°, then we can say that;

Central Angle = 180° - 135° = 45°

Angle subtended by Arc CD at the center is;

θ = 180 - (81 + 45)

θ = 54°

Solve the equation n2 − 29 = 260 by using square roots.
umka2103 [35]

Answer:

Option A, n = ± 17

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Add 29 to both sides

n^2 - 29 = 260

n^2 - 29 + 29 = 260 + 29

n^2 = 289

Step 2: Square root both sides

\sqrt{n^2} = \sqrt{289}

n = ± 17

Answer: Option A, n = ± 17
