There are 4 stages in Mitosis...
Prophase:
It is the first phase in which the chromatin coil to become chromatids, and those chromatids pair up and the nuclear membrane surrounding them dissolves. The centrioles move to each end (pole) of the cell.
Metaphase:
Where the paired chromatids align in the centre of the cell and spindle fibres attach to them at the centromere.
Anaphase:
The centrioles act as anchors, tearing the paired chromatids away from each other using the spindle fibres. Each paired chromatid moves to either (the opposite) end of the cell.
Telophase:
Where the chromatids elongate to form chromatin, and a nuclear membrane begins to form around the chromatin at each end of the cell. Cytokinesis occurs in this stage as the cell separates into two daughter cells. In animal cells, there is cleavage as the two cells are starting to separate. In plant cells, a plate begins to form.

If the conservative model had been correct, how many generations of bacterial cell division would have had to pass before mesels
Reil [10]

No generations or hybrid would form before meselson and stahl would have observed evidence of a band in the cscl gradient.

The conservative model predicts that, following a single replication, half of the newly formed DNA double helices will be made entirely of the original, or old, DNA, and the other half will be entirely new. Then, each double helix would be completely replicated during the second round of replication. After that, 25% of the double helices would be all new, and 25% would be entirely old. Thus, the fraction of entirely new DNA double helices would increase with each succeeding round of replication, but the total number of completely unique DNA double helices would remain constant. Therefore, no hybrid DNA molecule containing 14N and 15N is replicated in the conservative model.

Compare the structures and functional groups of arachidonic acid and prostaglandin pge1.
Tatiana [17]

Arachadonic acid is a carboxylic acid with a 20 carbon chain and four cis-double bonds. They do not have any functional groups. It is a polyunsaturated fatty acid present in the phospholipids of the membranes in the cells of the body, brain, muscle and liver. Prostaglandins are the active lipids compounds abundant in human tissue. They are a 20 carbon chain saturated fatty acids with a 5 carbon ring forming a cyclopentane. It has one trans-double bond, two hydroxyl functional groups and a ketone functional group.
