red : 1/3(7.89) = 7.89/3 = 2.63

so he spent 5.26 on green peppers and 2.63 on red peppers

and if red peppers cost 0.95 and he spent 2.63, then he bought 2.63/0.95 = 2.7 ...rounds to 3 red peppers <==
