Have you tried reading the questions first and then searching for them in the passage? I've started doing that when taking any standardized test and it's helped me a lot.
Also, if allowed by whomever is watching over you while you test, I highly recommend wearing a watch. It'll help you pace yourself (but try not to watch it obsessively because that's actually counterproductive)
