At the end of the directions, it talks about parallel, perpendicular, or neither. When x=y, the lines are perpendicular and have infinite solutions. When they are parallel, there is no solution. You'll get an answer like 4=5. Neither means there is only one answer, and you will get one x and one y.

Komok [63]

Answer:

7over9 or -7over9

Step-by-step explanation:

81x power 2 - 8 = 41

(left side) (right side)

first we let the 8 from left side go to the right side,so it will be +8:

81x power 2 = 41+ 8

=49

so now we let the 81 from left side go to right side, so it will be ÷81:

x power 2= 49 over 81

and now we let the power 2 (square) go to the other side so it will become square root:

x = + - √49 over 81

at the end, you will get 2 answers which is 7 over 9 and - 7 over 9

Just find the figure of the rectangle plss
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

x= 21

y= 3

z= 21

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the center be O,

=> Triangle AOD is an Isosceles triangle so AO≅DO, "21 = x"

=> Line AC is divided in two equal parts by the center so if AO= 21 then

    7y = 21, and thus "y = 3"

=> BOC is also an Isosceles triangle so CO ≅ BO, if CO = 21 (7y → 7*3) then so will be BO. Therefore "z = 21"

For the given term, find the binomial raised to the power, whose expansion it came from: 220(5x)3(−6y)9.
sukhopar [10]
Answer: (5x - 6y)^{12}
Explanation: For a general binomial expansion, (x + y)^{n}, we know that the powers have to add up to the initial power. This means that the power of x and power of y have to add up to n. This is the binomial theorem.

To further demonstrate this, let's use:
(x + y)^{4}

We can easily expand this. Using Pascal's Triangle, we get:
(x + y)^{4} = x^{4} \cdot y^{0} + 4x^{3} \cdot y^{1} + 6x^{2} \cdot y^{2} + 4x^{1} \cdot y^{3} + x^{0} \cdot y^{4}

As we progress along the expansion, we can see that in each term, the summation of each power remains constant, namely 4.

It doesn't matter what term the binomials are, because the power summation will never change.
This is why we can say that it is raised to the 12th power, and the binomial is:
(5x - 6y).

Thus, we get: (5x - 6y)^{12}
