Answer:

Like in modern times, several of the ancient civilizations also studied biology. They were also familiar with the natural processes and used that knowledge to help the individuals of society. The Asian civilizations were the first to use herbal medicines, and the South American civilizations developed methods of agriculture like crop domestication and irrigation.

The contribution of Greek civilizations is well-familiar with each and everyone regarding the evolution of life science. They have developed the basic guidelines of the science known today. In 400 BC, the School of Medicine was created by the Greek physician Hippocrates. Also the initial categorization of living species was done by Aristotle, a Greek philosopher.

Leona [35]

One difference between cancer cells and normal cells is that cancer cells continue to divide even when they are tightly packed together (option C).

What are cancer cells?

Cancer is a disease in which the cells of a tissue undergo uncontrolled (and often rapid) proliferation.

When normal cells become cancerous, they lose the ability to regulate cell division, hence, they continue to divide excessively.

Normal cells are characterized by their ability to regulate cell division during the cell cycle.

Therefore, one difference between cancer cells and normal cells is that cancer cells continue to divide even when they are tightly packed together.
