The factors are what can be multipied to get to a number
so example
the factors of 6 are 1,2,3

the factors of ab is 1, a, b

the factors of
(4x)(3x²+5y)
(4)(x)(3x²+5y)
(2)(2)(x)(3x²+5y)
the factors are 1,2,4,2x, 4x, 3x²+5y, 2(3x²+5y), 4(3x²+5y), 2x(3x²+5y), x(3x²+5y)

3x² and 5y are not factors because they are inside the parenthasees

from what I can see, you can eliminate the 2nd choice and the 3rd choice and 4th choice

the answe ris the first choice (ends with "and 3x²+5y) probably is 4x and 3x²+5y

Geometry help greatly needed, check photo for more information! <3
vlabodo [156]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf x = 55\°}

Step-by-step explanation:

When a quadrilateral is inscribed in a circle, the opposite angles of it add up to 180 degrees.

Here,

∠DCB + ∠DAB = 180 (Opposite angles of a quad inscribed in a circle.)

<u>Given that:</u> ∠DCB = 135° and ∠DAB = x

135 + x = 180

Subtract 135 to both sides

x = 180 - 135

x = 55°

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

The ratio of juices to ginger ale is 2 to 2

The ratio of orange juice to the cranberry juice is 1 to 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Ginger ale = 2 liters

Orange juice = 1 liter

Cranberry juice = 1 liter

Total ratio = 2 + 1 + 1 = 4

The ratio of ginger ale to the entire punch bowl is 1 to 4.

Ginger ale : entire punch bowl

= 2 : 4

= 1 : 2

Not true

The ratio of orange juice to ginger ale is 2 to 1.

Orange juice : ginger ale = 1 : 2

Not true

At a picnic there were 3 times as many adults as children and twice as many women as men. If there was a total of x men, women,
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

\dfrac{x}{4}

C is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

At a picnic,

Number of adults is 3 times as number of children.

Number of women is twice as number of men.

Total number of men, women and children at the picnic be x

Let number of children be c

Let number of men be m

Let number of women be w

# Number of women is twice as number of men, w = 2m

# Number of adults is 3 times as number of children, w + m = 3c

      2m + m = 3c     (∴  w=2m )

                c = m

Total number of men, women and children at the picnic be x

∵       c + m + w = x

     m + m + 2m = x

                    4m = x

Number of men, m=\dfrac{x}{4}

Hence, The total number of men will be  \dfrac{x}{4}
