Multitasking is detrimental to  encoding of information because it causes dislocations in the information sets and thus there are high chances of making mistakes.

Multi Tasking also causes lot of disturbance in work focus and thus insights of the data are interpreted the way it was supposed to be done.

Any task which is done specially with full attention and in one direction along with taking care of one task only , then only great insights van be brought in.
